HTC ONE MAX
HTC One Max is the larger variant of the 2013 HTC’s flagship model — the HTC One. HTC One Mini is another variant which was launched later in August. HTC One Max has an almost identical looks as HTC One. It offers the same premium feel as the other two One models, as it has the aluminum unibody design. This sure makes the One Max one of the hottest Phablet in the market. The plastic sides in this model is different as opposed to the metal sides in the original One model. The power button is placed on the right hand side and there is a fingerprint scanner placed on the backside below the camera. Like HTC One, One Max also has front facing dual ‘BoomSound’ stereo speakers. HTC One Max falls in the Phablet category, owing to its big 5.9-inch display. It has the same 1920x1080 pixel resolution of the HTC One, which results in a lower pixel density of 373ppi; but it’s still pretty crisp. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Internally, it is powered by the Quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chipset which again was used in HTC One too and has 2GB RAM. It comes in 32GB and 64GB capacities which can be further expanded up to 64GB by a microSD card which was lacking in some One models.
HTC One ships in with the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version and HTC Sense 5.5. In the camera department, it’s rear-facing camera is a 4MP ‘UltraPixels’ image sensor (for comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has 13MP camera). However it lacks Optical Image Stabilization which was seen in HTC One; so it won’t provide shake-free video and good low-light photo capture. It has 2.1MP front-facing camera for video calling/selfies. The phone supports 4G LTE. This phone enables the user to disable BlinkFeed which is a welcome feature. The users can Unlock the phone by Fingerprint Scanner. The HTC One Max is backed up by a massive non-removable 3300mAh battery. This variant is the higher-end one with 32GB storage space.
